AIN Halloween Party, October 6
Social Event: Halloween Party! Saturday, October 6th at 2:30-4:30, at Oak Park Christian Center, 2073 Oak Park Blvd. We will be in the back classrooms of the CMC, park in the back of the lot and walk towards the middle building. We are the room in middle. Your child can dress up or come in everyday street clothes. Our afternoon will be filled with fun games: "Find the worm in the Chocolate Pudding," "Pumpkin Roll," other fun games, food, and we will watch Casper! Early Registration available September 17th through September 23rd is $25 +$1 handling fee!

Open Arms Basketball Clinic

Who: For children with special needs ages 5-12
Dates: Friday, October 8, 22, 29 and November 12 & 26
Time: 5-6 pm
Where: Oak Park Christian Center in the gym
Cost: $10
To register please email: all_in_need@yahoo.com limited space available please register no later than Monday, September 27th. We are sorry, but we aren't able accommodate children who need one on one assistants this year.

Upcoming Events at Oak Park Christian Center
KidZone-Friday, May 28, 6:30 -9:00 in the Gym Cost $10. Permission slip available at the door. Snack bar items sold separately.
Memorial Day Picnic- Monday May 31, $2.50 per person $6 max per family. 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Includes: Competitive baseball at 10, Family baseball at 11. Bring your own meat for BBQ, plus a side dish to share, church provides condiments and drinks. Plus, picnic games for kids after lunch. Pleasant Hill Park on Gregory, in PH. Cost for swimming at the pool is separate.
Route 254 Summer Program- Wed's beginning June 23- August 25, 6:30- 8:30. All kids 4yrs through 5th grade will enjoy this fun "trip" across America as we explore following God's path. Based on Psalms 25:4. "Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths." There is a 1 time donation of $25 per child to cover costs for all the crafts, snacks, and music the kids receive. PreK & Elementary kids meet together for Opening & Closing Worship Rally. Kids' Music Presentation at the end of the summer at our fun Family Night. CMC. Adult Bible study at the same time in the Worship Center. Nursery Care.
Sunday Night Live- Sunday's beginning June 27- 6:00 -8:00 p.m. for kids 4yrs - 5th grade. Great kid friendly Christian movies, snacks, devotional time, and scripture memory help kids hide God's Word in their heart. Free. Meets in CMC. Adult evening service at the same time in the Worship Center. Nursery Care.

All in Need Family Event - Oakland Zoo
Where: Oakland Zoo
When: June 19th
Time: 10 am to 4 pm
Join the All in Need ministry group from Oak Park Christian Center at the Oakland Zoo! 12 paying individuals or more are required to get into the Oakland Zoo with a group discount. A registration, two weeks in advance, is required to take advantage of the best deal the zoo has to offer. Therefore, payment and registration is required no later then Tuesday, June 1st by 4 pm to Oak Park Christian Center , Attention Autumn Green, AIN Coordinator. Please fill out the registration form and make checks payable to Oak Park Christian Center , note AIN Family Event.
The Oakland Zoo charges a $6 parking fee per car, this cost is not part of the prepayment and is the responsibility of the driver. Refunds will not be available to individuals not showing up to the All in Need Family Event. AIN is counting on your participation to get the cheapest rate for everyone involved. Refunds will be issued if there are not enough paying individuals to get the group rate.

Get to know other families within our community that have some of the same struggles as you and your family. A chance for children with special needs to socialize, siblings to find support from one and other, and for parents to be able connect with other parents for support with an opportunity to be able to share in fun times with your whole family at our first AIN Family Event. It will be held in the CMC where All in Need usually meets. We will have therapy dogs visiting from 2:30 to 3:30, a small slide show showing you what your children are doing on a typical Friday night at All in Need, and then free time for all family members enjoy our newly remodeled Children's Ministry Center. Where the whole family can play family friendly video games on a variety of gaming consoles (i.e., Wii, Play Station, X-box, I-Pod touch, and PC), some of the games include Dance Praise and Guitar Praise. For those families who are less into the electronics we will have board games out too!
Volunteers this event is not required, but please feel free to come and bring your families. This will be a great time for you to get to know the families we serve. This is also a great time for your children to learn from children with special needs.
