January 7th evening parent education - Developmental Pediatrician Brad Berman

From Parents of Orinda Individuals in Special Education (POISE) and Special Parents, Special Kids (SPSK)

Developmental pediatricians can help evaluate, manage, and consult with children who may have challenges such as anxiety, attention issues, learning challenges, or disruptive behavior. These specialists assess a child’s strengths and weaknesses, with a focus on prevention and use of public and private community resources. Developmental pediatricians collaborate with the child’s primary care physician, along with teachers, therapists and others to ensure consistency of care and a multidisciplinary approach to meet the needs of the child and the family.
