THANK A TEACHER TODAY!
I know that we aren't able to share our gratitude we have for our teachers in the traditional way this year with distance learning and social distancing in full effect, but I know that now more than ever households have gained even more knowledge and respect for what teachers do at school on a daily basis. So, get creative and share your appreciation for a teacher TODAY! Or at least this week.
Here are some ideas on ways to share your gratitude and appreciation virtually:
- Share a special note with a favorite moment or memory of your child's teacher and send it to your child's teacher via email or Google Classroom.
- Help your child send a note to their teacher via email.
- Help them make or write a card, picture, gift, etc. and take a photo of it and email it. Then set it aside for the day you can give it to their teacher.
- Make a picture or drawing online and send it online via email or Google Classroom.
- Perhaps schedule a call or zoom meeting or take some time during your class meeting with the teacher to share your appreciation, play a song, or just to say Thank You!
So don't worry about not being able to give a big gift basket or physical card, just share some kind words with your child's teacher this week; it is the little things that count!
