Parking Lot Wireless Spots for MDUSD Students and Devices

WIFI access for MDUSD students with MDUSD devices is available at the following schools: (for Spanish)

Elementary Schools: Cambridge*, Holbrook, Meadow Homes*, Rio Vista

Secondary Schools: College Park, Concord**, El Dorado, Pine Hollow, River View*

* Parking limited Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. due to Food Drop Off
** Parking limited Tuesday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. due to Farmers Market

How to Access:

MDUSD devices should automatically connect to the wireless network. If it does not,
select the “MDUSD” network from the list. Personal devices are not allowed access to
the network. More information is available at https://mdusd.org/parkinglotwireless

When to Access

The network is operational between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday thru Fridays until June
3rd. Additionally, on Memorial Day, there will be no access.

Where to Access

There will be signs posted in the parking lots for the schools listed above that should
highlight where wireless is available. Some schools have multiple parking lots so please
reference the signs posted on campus to ensure you are in an area with good coverage.

What if I cannot get access?

If you are unable to get locate the wireless network, you may have to move your vehicle
as local environmental factors may cause issues with the signal. In general, the closer
you are to a building the better chance you have.

What is the speed of the wireless?

Wireless speed is reliant one multiple factors (environment, signal strength etc). Access
should be okay for general web browsing, although video streaming may not work.

What if I have a login/device type issue?

Please note that adherence to strict social distancing protocols is required. Families are

to remain in their vehicles while on MDUSD campuses.
