I think cell phones should be allowed in schools and should be used in productive ways in the classroom. It seems silly to me that cell phones aren't integrated into schools already, especially Smart Phones.

I think this actually an interesting article. We do have our child with special needs using a phone on airplane mode at school for two reasons. The first reason is that it has alarms set for bathroom breaks. Two...the calendar function allows him to know what his plans are for the day. He knows he isn't to use during the day except for the two reason and it is to stay on airplane mode. It has been nice him not coming home and smelling like urine!
