Journal reader opinion: School attendance boundaries need overhaul

Article from the Contra Costa Times by Ruth Carver about the Mt. Diablo Unified School District updating school boundaries:

This fall, important decisions are being made by Mt. Diablo Unified School District, the largest school district in our county and also the largest in Walnut Creek.

Starting now, finally, Mt. Diablo will update school boundaries. This is part of the school closure process; Mt. Diablo plans to close four schools, has hired a consulting firm and has appointed a School Closure Committee.
