Have Your Voice Heard

At Monday's CAC meeting Anna Levine from DRA (Disability Rights Advocates) will be speaking about the Consent Decree, which has almost run its course. The Consent Decree was the result of class action suit against MDUSD (Spieler vs MDUSD)that mandated equal access and educational reform. Examples of Consent Decree mandates are: the AAC program, special education assistant training program and parent liaison position. It has been implemented over a number of years and it ending. This is a great opportunity to voice your opinion, and speak out on what is working and not working in the district. You can find more information on the Consent Decree HERE.
