Presentation - How will ABA Funding work after July 1st, 2012 in California?

From Amy Cusack - FirstSteps for Kids, Inc.

What: Talk with parents about the status of funding ABA (and other) therapies.

Presenters: Bonnie Yates,
Special Education Attorney and, FirstSteps for Kids, Inc.

When: Thursday, June 21st @ 6:30 pm

Where: Lafayette Library

We will be at the Lafayette Library on Thursday, June 21st at 6:30 pm with special education attorney, Bonnie Yates to talk with parents about the status of funding ABA (and other) therapies. With SB-946 going into effect on July 1st, families are experiencing changes in how they will access funding for services. Fortunately, FirstSteps has been contracted with the majority of the insurance companies for the last year, and our experience is helping us lend a hand to families as they navigate this new funding frontier. Mrs. Yates has 20 + years experience with special education law, and has a wealth of knowledge to share for all special needs parents.
