DECEMBER 2, 2020 marks the 45th anniversary of the signing of the first law designed to provide educational services to students with disabilities; Dr. Wendi Aghily, Chief, Pupil Services and Special Education reminded us this morning with an email honoring those that serve our students with special needs, each and every one! This is a reminder TODAY to be GRATEFUL! With so many challenging moments these days it is a wonderful time to step back and remember that things do change and will get better.
Take time today to remember the landmark signing of legislation that changed the lives of many and gave greater opportunity for all and thank those that continue to serve and advocate for additional growth and opportunity for our children and their future!
