A Learning Opportunity for Families with
Transition Age Youth with Disabilities
(Simultaneous Spanish Interpretation Available)
Transition to adulthood is a major step in every young person’s life. There have never been more opportunities for students with disabilities to continue learning and growing after leaving public school. DREDF is part of a coalition of community organizations and service providers focused on supporting transition age youth with disabilities. We want to let you know about this free virtual conference designed for parents, caregivers, staff, and students with disabilities, ages 14 and older. In a series of five presentations, you can learn more about postsecondary educational opportunities including vocational programs, adult education, community college, university, and lifelong learning. Open to all, regardless of county residence You can attend any of the presentations that interest you.

- Student Accessibility Services at Community College - How to Navigate Online Classes
- Presenters: Ron Nelson & Mary Ciddio, Student Accessibility Services Merritt Community College
There will also be a virtual resource room with great information on many topics that families can explore independently.
