MDUSD's Back to School Task Force Collaboration

Our work diligently continues through the summer! The District has initiated the process of working within three task forces to plan for the reopening of school in the 2020-21 school year:

1) Health and Safety Task Force
2) School Operations and Technology Task Force
3) Teaching and Learning Task Force

These task forces are meeting weekly or semi-weekly, and participants are also independently researching different aspects and options of the reopening plan to provide information to the group at large.
If you are interested in serving on the task forces, please call (925) 682-8000 x4016 during normal business hours or email Louise Neville nevillel@mdusd.net to be considered for participation. Please leave your name, phone number, email address, and the task force you are interested in participating in so that you may be considered for a role in this important work.
We are pleased that our task forces will bring together a wide variety of perspectives and voices, and we will be diligent to communicate out to our community as major decisions are made.

In early June, State Superintendent Tony Thurmond published this guide, which includes important guidance that we will consider as we collaborate towards our re-opening.
