Information, Webinars and Up Coming Meetings!

As the 'school week' comes to close I would like to share some up coming informational meetings, resources and webinars that may be of interest to you.  

Developmental Disabilities Council of Contra Costa County Hosts:

COVID-19 Informational Meeting to I/DD Community

This coming Wednesday, April 22 at 10 am we will hold a COVID-related informational call for our community. This Zoom call is in place of our regular board of directors meeting. Similar to the informational call in March, we will hear updates from the following agencies:  
  • Contra Costa County Deputy Health Officer
  • State Council on Developmental Disabilities
  • Regional Center of the East Bay
  • 2-1-1 Helpline
  • EHSD / In Home Support Services

Children's Health Council Hosts: 

Managing Stress with Mindfulness Strategies 



Attend this session to help your kids develop habits and responses that reduce their worries with mindfulness strategies. Presented by Patrice Crisostomo, PhD, Clinical Program Manager and Licensed Psychologist at CHC and Madison Sunnquist, MA, Doctoral Psychology Intern at CHC.
