Mt Diablo USD is currently reviewing transportation policies and services for students with disabilities. It is the goal of the district to ensure all students transition from home to school and back in a safe and efficient manner. We understand that many of the changes will have an impact on our families schedules and day care arrangements. It is our desire to continue to work with our community groups and stakeholders as we explore options for providing transportation services as required under federal and state laws, while continuing to keep budget reductions away from the classroom as much as possible. To this end, we will be having community information meetings in September to discuss the changes to transportation. Attached is an update to the frequently asked questions.
