The Mt. Diablo School District held a meeting on Tuesday, 29th for parents who have children that receive special education services in their district. Parents were told that there would be changes this Fall. District staff had parents write down questions and told parents that they would answer the questions and post them to the blog.

Have any parents, who disagree with the placement for their child based on the projection letter, requested and received an IEP meeting prior to the start of school and were all team members available for said meeting? Hard to imagine since teacher and principal assignments are still up in the air.

I haven't heard how it was handled other then calling the district office from there.... I don't know. Any families who have had to deal with it, can you please let us know your experience. (please keep your comments appropriate or we will not be able to post)
