What does your organization do for children of special needs?
GOALS For Autism, Inc. provides services to children and adults with all types of special needs. We provide Applied Behavior Analysis services in the form of consultation, one to one support, parent education classes, and social skills training groups. GOALS also has a Marriage and Family Therapist providing individual, couples, and family counseling services. We also provide facilitate parent and sibling support groups.
How can a person access your services (i.e. fees, application process, eligibility, ages, etc.)?
GOALS For Autism, Inc. provides services to children starting at birth up to adults. We provide services to anyone needing or wanting help facilitating behavior changes within the home, community, and school. Currently GOALS For Autism, Inc. accepts a variety of insurances, Regional Center funding, and is a Non-Public Agency contracting with school districts. To access our services a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder is not required.
How does your program support social interaction among all children, typically developing and with special needs?
GOALS For Autism, Inc. facilitates social groups with typically developing peers, playdates within the home and community. We strive to allow families access to peers and community activities as often as possible.
Can you tell us what events/activities are happening this year? Dates?
Throughout the year we offer Parent Education Classes, Social Skills Groups for children and adults, and Parent and Sibling Support groups. If you are interested in a class or group please contact us at 888-531-8385 as groups are constantly starting throughout Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.

What have you found most rewarding working with (name of org)?
I LOVE my job! It is so amazing to help families in such a time of need. I am so happy to be a part of a families life, even if just for a moment, especially since I am able to bring life back into a family.
What is your favorite activity?
My personal favorite activity is endurance triathlons. BUT my favorite activity to do with kids and adults is art! I love to make art projects with kids. And jump on the trampoline!
