If you have a child with an I.E.P. (Individualized Education Plan), or you if you suspect that your child has a disability or a developmental delay of any kind (i.e. cognition, social/emotional, fine/gross motor, speech and language, adaptive behavior), it is important for you to know your child’s educational rights, as a parent. After all, the more you know and understand about the special education process, and special education law, the better advocate you’ll be for your child!
