Parents will learn how to take advantage of everyday routines to help build on their child's language.

Parents will learn that language starts with interaction, the importance of tuning into their child, and the importance of using motivating items to create opportunities for their child to communicate.

The seminar will be led by Liz Lang, M.S., CCC-SLP. She received her bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from San Diego University and a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from San Jose State University. Liz has been certified in the Hanen It Takes Two to Talk (R) programs and has experienced running these programs which focus on helping parents better communicate with their children with language delays and ASD.
