To promote natural interaction and learning between kids with special needs and their typical peers.
Got Wrapping Paper?
Let's make some together! We'll have paper, paints, stencils, and stamps to craft our special wrapping paper to use for holiday gifts. You may also bring plain gift boxes from home if you'd like to decorate those. (Shirt boxes work well for this)
There will be an Occupational Therapist at this Buddy Play, to help facilitate our activity, and consult on ways to improve the fine and adaptive motor skills of our kids.
Of course, we must also decorate cookies. Because....we have to stick with the traditional Buddy Play holiday tradition. Sorry about the sugar consumption! :-)
