Take Flight for Kids!


What: Join us for the third annual community festival. For free admission, simply register online at http://www.takeflightforkids.com (click "Register for Free Festival Admission")


When: Saturday September 25, 2010 9am-5pm

Where: San Jose Reid Hillview Airport, 2500 Cunningham Ave, San Jose (across from Raging Waters and Great America). Free parking and a free shuttle bus at Eastridge Mall (only about 3 minutes shuttle bus ride away)

Who: 200+ exhibitors will be there. Kids of all ages welcomed. Explore the wonders of high tech, experience the fun of hands-on stuff. Sports demos, bounce houses, robots, exotic animal petting zoo, make-it-yourself air rockets, amazing fire fighting gear and demos, the Red Cross van, exotic aircraft tours, live bands. We will have horses to meet, including the San Jose Mounted Police, and the Chaparral Corporation's famous horses and a buggy. Plus the Oakland Raiders are hosting a booth, as are the San Jose Earthquakes. Cisco's famous kid-friendly "Human Internet Maze" will take up an entire ballfield, and Cisco will team up with NASA to host an amazing performance of "IT Rocks / Space Rocks". Note: due to insurance issues, free flights will not be offered this year.
