Sexual Safety for Youth with Developmental Disabilities

WHAT: The Sexual Safety class is a workshop for girls and boys with developmental disabilities ages 12-18, and their parents. This workshop provides a safe setting to promote communication between parents and children about sexual subjects, to discuss appropriate and inappropriate touch, and practice skills for protection against unwanted advances. Visual aids, discussion, and activities will be used to reinforce the ideas of the workshop. This is cosponsored by Planned Parenthood and Kaiser Permanente. Open to the community.
