CAC Addresses Board 5/12/09

Tomorrow, May 12 at 7:30PM in the Dent Center, the CAC will provide its annual report to the board. We intend to list accomplishments for the year for the board and CAC, share our goals for the following year and advise the board of what we believe are compliance issues related to unilaterally cutting Extended School Year for special education students.

Parents are planning to speak on the Extended School Year issue during public comment. If you have a child at risk of regression or who is unable to recoup time lost with an inappropriate Extended School Year program, please join us and explain to the board how your child's education is impacted.
